Carqueja's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gasteiz Latorre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Gasteiz Latorre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's supporters rose to their feet, but Gasteiz Latorre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars Batzer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute Gasteiz Latorre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Batzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Elizardo Massana recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jeremy Avellana. Elizardo Massana showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Club Dep. Soc. Rodo made a substitution. Cao Kuan Wei replaced Marco Aguirre. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elizardo Massana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anthon Öberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lars Batzer having to make a save. Lars Batzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthon Öberg in the 53rd minute of play. When Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Del Manfredi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 68th minute Mario Vielva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Avellana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars Batzer made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Anthon Öberg sent off a good shot on target. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Jeremy Avellana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Vielva in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Sandaili Trevijano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carqueja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Dep. Soc. Rodo the free kick. In the 74th match minute, Carqueja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandaili Trevijano to maneuver through the defense. Anthon Öberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Lars Batzer made a huge save. Lars Batzer made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Anthon Öberg sent off a good shot on target. Carqueja's James Lucena was substituted for Sandaili Trevijano. Carqueja's Tiago Zotillo was substituted for Oliverio Cavallosa. A collision led to Carqueja getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Elizardo Massana hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Carqueja's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Trasloseros came free, but Lars Batzer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremy Avellana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ereinotz Masbernat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Del Manfredi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lauro Santandres, made in the 87th minute of the game. Lars Batzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthon Öberg in the 90th minute of the match. Carqueja made a substitution. Roderigo Villamizar replaced Ereinotz Masbernat. Lauro Santandres made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cortez Olalde. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anthon Öberg during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anthon Öberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Lars Batzer made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Carqueja's Tiago Zotillo got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
