Spectators: 9100 (Terracing: 6825, Seating: 2093, VIP seats: 182) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Americo Tresgallo started the match with the kick off. Germán Burgos came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pichincha Sporting Club's Americo Tresgallo. But to his dismay, Americo Tresgallo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ferrer Motel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Germán Burgos made a huge save. Miroslav Kučera took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jackson Jack. Jackson Jack dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 14 played minutes Pichincha Sporting Club got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Hedman. The supporters of Guns Reds booed when Pichincha Sporting Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bladi Cavallosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st match minute, Pichincha Sporting Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rachid Baba Ali Ya Afar to maneuver through the defense. Jackson Jack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslav Kučera in the 22nd minute of the match. Jackson Jack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Kučera in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute Miroslav Kučera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jackson Jack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jackson Jack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Kučera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Guns Reds's Alesander Labarra got a free kick in the 27th minute. With a little luck, Guns Reds's Germán Burgos got control of the ball when Ferrer Motel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Germán Burgos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Dominix, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Pim Schuurman lost his temper 36 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 36th minute, Pim Schuurman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germán Burgos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 于阳朋 in the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Guns Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Dominix came free, but Germán Burgos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 minutes of play, Pichincha Sporting Club's Ejvind Frøding made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Germán Burgos was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eutropio Alcubilla to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Ejvind Frøding shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germán Burgos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 played minutes Pichincha Sporting Club got a freekick which was hit by Ejvind Frøding. Germán Burgos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferrer Motel in the 57th minute of play. Jackson Jack made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Eutropio Alcubilla sent off a good shot on target. Germán Burgos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferrer Motel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eutropio Alcubilla scored 3-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jackson Jack, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Germán Burgos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ejvind Frøding in the 66th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eutropio Alcubilla got free with Jackson Jack in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the match, Guns Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Ejvind Frøding came free, but Germán Burgos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Ferrer Motel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Germán Burgos was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. After 85 played minutes Pichincha Sporting Club got a freekick which was hit by Ferrer Motel. Kaxen Marcos kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute Americo Tresgallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germán Burgos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pichincha Sporting Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
