After 2 played minutes Guns Reds got a freekick which was hit by Ragnar Piega. After 4 played minutes Kwyjibo got a freekick which was hit by Bahadırhan Yiğithan. Germán Burgos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Burgo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Kwyjibo's Christian Burgo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Germán Burgos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Guns Reds booed when Kwyjibo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Perli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miroslav Kučera received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sylwester Wawro came out and tried to block the shot, but Miroslav Kučera slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Christian Burgo made a precise shot to the right of Germán Burgos. Guns Reds's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hug Urquiaga in the 17th minute of play forced Guns Reds's goalkeeper Germán Burgos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Guns Reds's Xefe Balza fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Kaxen Marcos charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kaxen Marcos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Christian Burgo came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Kwyjibo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Burgo couldn't finish the play. Hug Urquiaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Guns Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Idacio Ballejos came free, but Germán Burgos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Burgo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Germán Burgos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Germán Burgos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hug Urquiaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The throw-in from Ragnar Piega in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kwyjibo's Fabricio Perli. Germán Burgos came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Kwyjibo's Christian Burgo. But to his dismay, Christian Burgo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After the first half Kwyjibo were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Idacio Ballejos made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eutropio Alcubilla in the 51st minute of play forced Kwyjibo's goalkeeper Sylwester Wawro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Kwyjibo's goal looked a bit too open when Ragnar Piega came free, but Sylwester Wawro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Christian Burgo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 minutes, Ragnar Piega mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guns Reds and the Kwyjibo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Guns Reds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Piega to maneuver through the defense. Germán Burgos made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Christian Burgo sent off a good shot on target. Kwyjibo's Sylwester Wawro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xefe Balza in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Guns Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Burgo came free, but Germán Burgos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hug Urquiaga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Germán Burgos made a huge save. In the 73rdth minute of the game Christian Burgo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guns Reds's Germán Burgos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslav Kučera in the 75th minute of play forced Kwyjibo's goalkeeper Sylwester Wawro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Christian Burgo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kwyjibo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Burgo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
