Cajaibas SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredinho Trancoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. But to his dismay, Jonathan Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Nilton Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Cajaibas SC's Jonathan Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredinho Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chambica FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
