Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rafa Trigo got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias de Amorim in the 3rd minute of play forced Perdigao's goalkeeper Edmundo de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Paulo de Queiroz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 5th minute. Perdigao's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 7 minutes into the match, Rafa Trigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmundo de Toledo. Perdigao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafa Trigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With splendid footwork João Paulo de Queiroz arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-1 by the left pole in the game's 10th minute. After 16 played minutes Perdigao got a freekick which was hit by João Paulo de Queiroz. Edmundo de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th match minute, Perdigao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Recife to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Rafa Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafa Trigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmundo de Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Durvalino Lopez made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Falcão Lara sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the game, Hortêncio de Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Potinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perdigao the free kick. After 25 played minutes Potinha got a freekick which was hit by Hortêncio de Senna. Falcão Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Durvalino Lopez made a huge save. If Falcão Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Rafa Trigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmundo de Toledo was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 35th minute, Rafa Trigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Perdigao's Edmundo de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa Trigo in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Potinha's goalkeeper Durvalino Lopez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Falcão Lara. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias de Amorim in the 48th minute of play forced Perdigao's goalkeeper Edmundo de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 55th minute, Rafa Trigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Walmyr Urbano fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perdigao's protests and gave Walmyr Urbano a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Perdigao got a freekick which was hit by Walmyr Urbano. After 57 minutes, Rafa Trigo made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Perdigao's Edmundo de Toledo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Rafa Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Perdigao getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. João Paulo de Queiroz hit a great ball. Elias de Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmundo de Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Rafa Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elias de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo de Toledo having to interfere. After having played for 83 minutes, Hortêncio de Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hortêncio de Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Perdigao's Edmundo de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias de Amorim in the 89th minute of play. Rafa Trigo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmundo de Toledo having to make a save. The Perdigao fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Potinha were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
