Aílton Favoretto hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Legends SC's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Valle came free, but Cristóvão Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Legends SC's zone, Arthur Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristóvão Lira came out of the goal and Arthur Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 10 played minutes Legends SC got a freekick which was hit by Fred de Sena. When Aílton Favoretto came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Legends SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aílton Favoretto couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jano Damião in the 22nd minute of play forced Palmeira's goalkeeper Daniel Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristóvão Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the game, João Adolfo Neiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Legends SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmeira the free kick. After 26 played minutes Legends SC got a freekick which was hit by João Adolfo Neiva. Arthur Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Lira having to interfere. Luiz Paulo Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aílton Favoretto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Luiz Paulo Moreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristóvão Lira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Júnior Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Legends SC's goalkeeper Cristóvão Lira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

A collision led to Legends SC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Alfredinho Goiano hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Arthur Valle put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cristóvão Lira. Legends SC's Cristóvão Lira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Legends SC from getting a goal against them. Arthur Valle received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristóvão Lira came out and tried to block the shot, but Arthur Valle slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 61st minute. In the 67th minute, Arthur Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Arthur Valle kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristóvão Lira. That made the score 0-4 in the 70 minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Luiz Paulo Moreira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristóvão Lira. Luiz Paulo Moreira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Cristóvão Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Valle in the 83rd minute of the match. After 85 minutes of play, Palmeira's Arthur Valle made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristóvão Lira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luiz Paulo Moreira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cristóvão Lira firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Luiz Paulo Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmeira's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Paulo Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristóvão Lira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Palmeira left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Legends SC.
