Spectators: 6974 (Terracing: 5474, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jarbas Catarinense started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Rodolfo Bezerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EC Santo André and the Yauacana players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 2 played minutes EC Santo André got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Bezerra. After 3 played minutes, Yauacana's Wiliam Batista shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Doni Sampaio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yauacana reached it. If Jarbas Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 7thth minute of the game Jarbas Catarinense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yauacana's Jaime Passos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute, Diamantino Arósio made a precise shot to the right of Jaime Passos. Yauacana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Jaime Passos was a little too slow when Jarbas Catarinense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 2-0. 27 minutes into the match, Zé Paulo Pimenta notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of EC Santo André's Doni Sampaio. Doni Sampaio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jaime Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarbas Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Diamantino Arósios short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Jaime Passos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jarbas Catarinense had several of the Yauacana's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Jaime Passos as he didn't even see the shot coming. When EC Santo André's Jarbas Catarinense in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yauacana's goalie prevented a goal. Jarbas Catarinense did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-1 to the left of a surprised Jaime Passos 36 minutes into the match. If Diamantino Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Durvalino Lopez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yauacana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. 44 minutes into the match, Yauacana's Zé Paulo Pimenta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Doni Sampaio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Paulo Pimenta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jaime Passos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarbas Catarinense's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 53rd match minute, Yauacana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Washington Hermes notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Yauacana's Jaime Passos. Jaime Passos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Yauacana's Serafim de Brito got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Washington Hermes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarbas Catarinense in the 63rd minute of play forced Yauacana's goalkeeper Jaime Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarbas Catarinense in the 68th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Durvalino Lopez put it in 5-3 from a short distance just to the right of Doni Sampaio. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarbas Catarinense in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Passos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of EC Santo André booed when Yauacana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. EC Santo André's Jean Marques was substituted for Diamantino Arósio. EC Santo André made a substitution. Rubinho Lira replaced Rodolfo Bezerra. Ricardo Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, Yauacana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarbas Catarinense in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Passos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 82 minutes into the game, EC Santo André's Rubinho Lira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaime Passos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-3. EC Santo André's Doni Sampaio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save EC Santo André from getting a goal against them. When EC Santo André's Jean Marques in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yauacana's goalie prevented a goal. Jaime Passos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarbas Catarinense's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. After a rather tough play, Yauacana's Glauco Nogueira got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Jarbas Catarinense took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaime Passos. Jaime Passos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-3. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. EC Santo André had played much better football throughout.
