With his leg Jeremias Porto managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Barranco's Germano de Almeida fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano de Almeida in the 8th minute of play forced Morrinhos FC's goalkeeper Jeremias Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Germano de Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeca Macedo in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremias Porto saved Morrinhos FC from getting behind. Germano de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Efe Tekiner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Novaes in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Germano de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barranco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germano de Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Fred Diniz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morrinhos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barranco the free kick. Fred Diniz hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Germano de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 39 minutes, Percival Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barranco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Percival Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeremias Porto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Oswaldo Hames.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardinho da Rocha to make the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Zeca Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barranco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeca Macedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeremias Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Fred Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Germano de Almeida had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremias Porto. Morrinhos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Germano de Almeida was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano de Almeida in the 73rd minute of play forced Morrinhos FC's goalkeeper Jeremias Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Germano de Almeida in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremias Porto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeremias Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano de Almeida in the 76th minute of the match. If Germano de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Germano de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barranco's supporters rose to their feet, but Germano de Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Percival Loureiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fred Diniz hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Germano de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germano de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Germano de Almeida made a precise shot to the right of Jeremias Porto. Morrinhos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When the referee ended the match the Barranco players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
