An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Hoffmann in the 21st minute of play forced Tijucucu EC's goalkeeper Dalmo Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Edson Domingues came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the O líder voltou fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edson Domingues couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute Carlos Fernando Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Tijucucu EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Dalmo Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Edson Domingues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Dalmo Branco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Abelardo Hoffmann made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Edson Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Abelardo Hoffmann came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the O líder voltou fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Hoffmann couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, O líder voltou's Dalmo Branco threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edson Domingues, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 66 played minutes Tijucucu EC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto de Mendonça. Abelardo Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Branco having to interfere. Abelardo Hoffmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Dalmo Branco made a huge save. 0-5 became the score in the 72nd minute when Edson Domingues elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 78th minute Carlos Fernando Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hudson Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Fabian Rydberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abelardo Hoffmann's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Dalmo Branco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edson Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Dalmo Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tijucucu EC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Edson Domingues 89 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. Hudson Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tião de Almeida in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of Tijucucu EC booed when O líder voltou was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernani Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Passos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hudson Chaves. O líder voltou's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match was over O líder voltou could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tijucucu EC throughout the match.
