The Paracatu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovanni Catarinense should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Folmer98 Fut's goal looked a bit too open when Alexsandro Motta came free, but Filipe Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Alexsandro Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovanni Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabrício Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 46th minute Álvaro Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Álvaro Leal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tiago Gomes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Folmer98 Fut protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tiago Gomes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Folmer98 Fut fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! Folmer98 Fut's Fabrício Meirelles got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilvan Munhoz charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Filipe Araújo made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Alexsandro Motta sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexsandro Motta got free with Filipe Araújo in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filipe Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
