In the 3rdth minute of the game Giuseppe Mazza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paracatu's Geovanni Catarinense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Giuseppe Mazza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geovanni Catarinense. Paracatu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giuseppe Mazza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 7 played minutes Life Style FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Veiga. Pedro Luiz Novaes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre Papin in the 13th minute of play forced Paracatu's goalkeeper Geovanni Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giuseppe Mazza in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovanni Catarinense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 24 minutes, Ricardinho Veiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Life Style FC and the Paracatu players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Paracatu booed when Life Style FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardinho Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th match minute, Paracatu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Mattos to maneuver through the defense. Stefan Cizeski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexsandro Motta in the 28th minute. Geovanni Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre Papin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 41st minute Álvaro Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Cizeski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Life Style FC's Pierre Papin got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geovanni Catarinense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pierre Papin's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Stefan Cizeski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Leal in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 56th minute Giuseppe Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pierre Papin kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 57thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Paracatu's keeper Geovanni Catarinense was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 57th match minute, Life Style FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Cabral to maneuver through the defense. The Life Style FC fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Life Style FC's Pierre Papin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Paracatu defense, Pierre Papin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovanni Catarinense. The Paracatu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovanni Catarinense should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the game, Giuseppe Mazza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Geovanni Catarinense. Giuseppe Mazza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Geovanni Catarinense successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 83 minutes into the match, Paracatu's goalkeeper Geovanni Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pierre Papin. Giuseppe Mazza had several of the Paracatu's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Geovanni Catarinense as he didn't even see the shot coming. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tony Andrade in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Cizeski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Paracatu's Sandro Paes got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle sounded Life Style FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Paracatu.
