Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sydney de Amaral kicked off to start the match. In the 39th minute of the match, Alexsandro Motta got a very nice opportunity to score, but Perivaldo Moreira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alexsandro Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Perivaldo Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Guarany de Bagé's Perivaldo Moreira got control of the ball when Alexsandro Motta tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Paracatu's Perivaldo Moreira threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Álvaro Leal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Álvaro Leal was the one to do the kick off. Perivaldo Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Guarany de Bagé's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Leal came free, but Perivaldo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Leal in the 65th minute of play forced Guarany de Bagé's goalkeeper Perivaldo Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7-0 became the score in the 66th minute when Tony Andrade elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Guarany de Bagé's Perivaldo Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexsandro Motta in the 70th minute of play. Dedê Castro hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Ernesto Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guarany de Bagé's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Vinhas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovanni Catarinense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the match, Paracatu's goal looked a bit too open when Otávio Vale came free, but Geovanni Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Paracatu defense, Ernesto Vinhas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovanni Catarinense. The Paracatu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovanni Catarinense should have stopped the shot. Tony Andrade took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Perivaldo Moreira. Perivaldo Moreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. In the 83rd minute Sydney de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexsandro Motta during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute, Alexsandro Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sydney de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Catarinense having to interfere. If Sydney de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Guarany de Bagé's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Andrade came free, but Perivaldo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
