Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Doriva Tróia got the match started through his kick off. In the 6thth minute of the game Doriva Tróia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Convenfo AD's Osvaldo Sabóia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Dráusio Gerber managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Convenfo AD's Otávio Valle fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Sydney Martins came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Convenfo AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sydney Martins couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otávio Valle got free with Dráusio Gerber in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sydney Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráusio Gerber having to interfere. Dráusio Gerber made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Otávio Valle sent off a good shot on target. Kauã Dantas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osvaldo Sabóia having to make a save. Kauã Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Osvaldo Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Retencao SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. Otávio Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráusio Gerber having to interfere. Dráusio Gerber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Otávio Valle in the 32nd minute. Kauã Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Sabóia having to interfere. Convenfo AD's Osvaldo Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Tróia in the 40th minute of play. Otávio Valle's late challenge caught a Retencao SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Otávio Valle helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Convenfo AD getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Otávio Valle hit a great ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Kauã Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Retencao SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kauã Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Otávio Valle made a precise shot to the right of Dráusio Gerber. Retencao SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Doriva Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Otávio Valle in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dráusio Gerber saved Retencao SC from getting behind. Osvaldo Sabóia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doriva Tróia's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Otávio Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Otávio Valle in the 69th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 71 minutes into the match, Convenfo AD's goalkeeper Osvaldo Sabóia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kauã Dantas. Osvaldo Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doriva Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Tomás Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
