Alan Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute Otávio Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Convenfo AD were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ediberto Salgado to make the kick off. With his leg Alan Melo managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Convenfo AD's Otávio Valle fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 58th minute Geovani Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Otávio Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 minutes, Caio Quintal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Convenfo AD and the Embira players grew even worse after the yellow card. Osvaldo Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediberto Salgado in the 66th minute of the match. Nicolas de Godoi's late challenge caught a Embira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo Sabóia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geovani Amaral's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute, Sydney Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Caio Quintal notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Embira's Alan Melo. Alan Melo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alan Melo made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Otávio Valle sent off a good shot on target. Sydney Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th match minute, Convenfo AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Paranaense to maneuver through the defense.
