Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Horácio Lopes made the kick off which started today's match. The audience was convinced that Luisão Tróia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafinha Pontes was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. If Luisão Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisão Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafinha Pontes having to interfere. Horácio Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Luisão Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, one of Ibura:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ibura. The referee gave Mecatron FC a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Flavinho Sampaio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ibura's Rafinha Pontes. 0-1. Fellipe Severo charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fellipe Severo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After recieving a nice pass, Mecatron FC's Flavinho Sampaio tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rafinha Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisão Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 27th minute, Conrado Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mecatron FC's Rodolfo Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeferson Arósio in the 33rd minute of play. After 36 minutes, Leopoldo Lopez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibura and the Mecatron FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leopoldo Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Horácio Lopes took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafinha Pontes. Rafinha Pontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ibura! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeferson Arósio to make the kick off. A well placed Horácio Lopes short distance shot in the 52nd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Eusébio Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafinha Pontes having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ibura's zone, Luisão Tróia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafinha Pontes came out of the goal and Luisão Tróia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luisão Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mecatron FC's Rodolfo Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeferson Arósio in the 72nd minute of play. In the 78th minute, Jeferson Arósio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolfo Bertassi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Rafinha Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. With an all-out effort, Mecatron FC's Rafinha Pontes threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Horácio Lopes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 89 minutes into the match, Ibura's Jeferson Arósio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodolfo Bertassi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rafinha Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisão Tróia in the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Mecatron FC booed when Ibura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fellipe Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Horácio Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Mecatron FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horácio Lopes couldn't finish the play. Horácio Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafinha Pontes having to interfere. The Ibura fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mecatron FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
