Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Sandro Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Cabura FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandro Antunes couldn't finish the play. Sandro Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Paulo Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Cabura FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldinho Maciel to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 24 minutes, Régis Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Constant's supporters crossed their fingers, but Régis Vander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dênis Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emílio da Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudinei do Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cabura FC's zone, Régis Vander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio da Silva came out of the goal and Régis Vander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dênis Cordeiro hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Paulo Loureiro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mazinho Motta.

The supporters of Constant booed when Cabura FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldinho Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 minutes of play, Cabura FC's Almir Teixeira made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Loureiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 62 minutes, Claudinei do Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Constant's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinei do Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Loureiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sandro Antunes went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Constant's Claudinei do Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 76 played minutes Cabura FC got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldinho Maciel. Osvaldinho Maciel charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Osvaldinho Maciel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emílio da Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute, Claudinei do Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cabura FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Constant for a fine match.
