With a little luck, SCORPIONS F.C's Carlos Campidelis got control of the ball when Luiz Eduardo Cardozo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Renatinho Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luís Simões in the 12th minute of play forced SCORPIONS F.C's goalkeeper Carlos Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind SCORPIONS F.C's goalkeeper Carlos Campidelis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luiz Eduardo Cardozo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Carlos Campidelis made a huge save. When Sidney Freitas fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E Futshow's protests and gave Sidney Freitas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, S.E Futshow's Sidney Freitas got a free kick in the 17th minute. Luiz Eduardo Cardozo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Carlos Campidelis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.E Futshow's goalkeeper Delfim Lopez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Sidney Freitas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlos Campidelis, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Luiz Eduardo Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E Futshow's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Eduardo Cardozo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Campidelis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 played minutes SCORPIONS F.C got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Esteves. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Eduardo Cardozo got free with Carlos Campidelis in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute, Luiz Eduardo Cardozo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.E Futshow fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renatinho Machado to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luís Simões in the 52nd minute of play forced SCORPIONS F.C's goalkeeper Carlos Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SCORPIONS F.C's zone, Luiz Eduardo Cardozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Campidelis came out of the goal and Luiz Eduardo Cardozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Luís Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 60 minutes into the match, Pedro Luís Simões notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of SCORPIONS F.C's Carlos Campidelis. Carlos Campidelis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Luiz Eduardo Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Luís Simões in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Campidelis saved SCORPIONS F.C from getting behind. Delfim Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatinho Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Pedro Luís Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Campidelis having to interfere. The supporters of SCORPIONS F.C booed when S.E Futshow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luís Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Luís Simões in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Campidelis saved SCORPIONS F.C from getting behind. 79 minutes into the match, S.E Futshow's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Machado came free, but Delfim Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delfim Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Machado in the 81st minute of play. SCORPIONS F.C's Carlos Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Cardozo in the 85th minute of play. Luiz Eduardo Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Eduardo Cardozo in the 89th minute of the match. SCORPIONS F.C's Carlos Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Simões in the 93rd minute of play. Carlos Campidelis came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E Futshow's Pedro Luís Simões. But to his dismay, Pedro Luís Simões quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The S.E Futshow fans cheered their team off the field, for while SCORPIONS F.C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
