After having played for 13 minutes, Orlando Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manhuassu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Oliveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, NEW TEAM 77's Jean do Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilian Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Manhuassu's Wilian Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean do Valle in the 23rd minute of play. Narciso Zilles's late challenge caught a NEW TEAM 77's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narciso Zilles helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Narciso Zilles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jeremias Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Manhuassu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Gomes couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Tibúrcio Xavier notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Manhuassu's Wilian Montenegro. Wilian Montenegro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Manhuassu booed when NEW TEAM 77 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Manhuassu's goal looked a bit too open when Waldir Prado came free, but Wilian Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilian Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean do Valle in the 38th minute of the match. Wilian Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Wellington Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean do Valle made a kick off. Wilian Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean do Valle in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute Orlando Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Fernando Vieira threw the ball into play from the sideline. Manhuassu's Narciso Zilles quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The throw-in from Carlos Arribas in the 61st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by NEW TEAM 77's Ernesto Prado. Wilian Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute of the game Fernando Vieira made a throw-in which Waldir Prado played forward. Waldir Prado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Wilian Montenegro made a huge save. 1-3 became the score in the 67th minute when Jean do Valle elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Jean do Valle put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Wilian Montenegro. Wilian Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Prado in the 76th minute of play. Geraldo Ramos made in the 77th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jeremias Gomes immediately put the ball in play. In the 81st minute Jean do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilian Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute Orlando Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, NEW TEAM 77's Waldir Prado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilian Montenegro. Wilian Montenegro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Jeremias Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Arce having to interfere. In the 94th minute, NEW TEAM 77's Waldir Prado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilian Montenegro. Wilian Montenegro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. NEW TEAM 77's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
