Eliziario's Cipriano Miranda managed to work through ABC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Cipriano Miranda dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. ABC's Arnaldo Vides suffered a concussion after 28 minutes and had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Eliziario's Rômulo de Brito got a free kick in the 28th minute. If Maicon Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edgard Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39thth minute of the game Edgard Breckenfeld who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ABC's Juarês da Silveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Edgard Breckenfeld came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Eliziario fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Breckenfeld couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes in the game, Cipriano Miranda fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Juarês da Silveira having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inácio Moreira to make the kick off. Renato Aguiar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. ABC's Juarês da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Breckenfeld in the 58th minute of play. The referee gave Eliziario a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luiz Paulo Nogueira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ABC's Juarês da Silveira. 1-0. Juarês da Silveira came out of the goal and Edgard Breckenfeld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cipriano Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cipriano Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Juarês da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipriano Miranda took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juarês da Silveira. Juarês da Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Cipriano Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ABC's Juarês da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renan Rosado in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Eliziario's zone, Renato Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Rocha came out of the goal and Renato Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Edgard Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renan Rosado during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 96 played minutes Eliziario got a freekick which was hit by Renan Rosado.
