Espinhal's Amos Piscopo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natã de Azevedo in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Narciso Maranhense made a precise shot to the right of Giovanni Carvalho. Pocoes SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 25 minutes, Evandro Jacinto made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pocoes SS's Giovanni Carvalho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Espinhal getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Lúcio Britto hit a great ball. If Evandro Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alberto da Silva hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Giovanni Carvalho didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Espinhal's Lúcio Britto shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Lúcio Britto took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giovanni Carvalho. Giovanni Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. Giovanni Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Espinhal's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto da Silva came free, but Amos Piscopo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lúcio Britto struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Giovanni Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espinhal.
