Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Breno de Sousa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ernani Teixeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Durval Albuquerque read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. Fellipe Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Vicente Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Breno de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Quadros having to interfere. After 14 minutes of play, Relogio EC's Fellipe Camargo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Quadros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Caetano Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Durval Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celsinho Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Durande's Vicente Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fellipe Camargo in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Durande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrício de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Fellipe Camargo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vicente Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Ernani Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Durande's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernani Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Durval Albuquerque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ernani Teixeira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Durval Albuquerque came out and tried to block the shot, but Ernani Teixeira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 35th minute. The supporters of Durande booed when Relogio EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizinho Bittencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernani Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durval Albuquerque having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernani Teixeira to strike the kick off in the second half. Gernando Saraiva struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Durval Albuquerque didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Durande. 58 minutes into the game, Ernani Teixeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Durval Albuquerque was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Durande's Gernando Saraiva got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Durande's Vicente Quadros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Durande from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno de Sousa in the 70th minute of play forced Durande's goalkeeper Vicente Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Durval Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernani Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. If Fellipe Camargo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fellipe Camargo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente Quadros having to make a save. In the 85th minute, Luizinho Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Durande's Ernani Teixeira in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Relogio EC's goalie prevented a goal. Durval Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Saraiva in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 played minutes Durande got a freekick which was hit by Paulo José Fernandez. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Durande had won after a very even match.
