After 5 played minutes União Capixaba F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Faustino. Fábio Leão hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Washington de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibúrcio Simões in the 10th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Demiralp Türkmen managed to get in a good position for a shot. União Capixaba F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Demiralp Türkmen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Washington de Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Tibúrcio Simões's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Washington de Queiroz was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Tibúrcio Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cheruan SS's Washington de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibúrcio Simões in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Tibúrcio Simões dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Washington de Queiroz, 2-0. When Marco Mazza came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the União Capixaba F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Mazza couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tibúrcio Simões got free with Washington de Queiroz in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tibúrcio Simões stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, União Capixaba F.C.'s Tibúrcio Simões sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Washington de Queiroz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tibúrcio Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. In the 73rdth minute of the game Tibúrcio Simões who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cheruan SS's Washington de Queiroz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. União Capixaba F.C. made a substitution. Lucas Rosa replaced Norberto Faustino. União Capixaba F.C.'s Vinícius Faria was substituted for André Miranda. Demiralp Türkmen hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Murillo Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute.
