When Norberto Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Calderoes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Duarte couldn't finish the play. Calderoes's Oséas de Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Itaquá Atlético Club's goal looked a bit too open when Oséas de Barros came free, but Roberto Serapio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86thth minute of the game Ramiro Ramos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calderoes's Rony Marinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Calderoes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itaquá Atlético Club the free kick. The supporters of Itaquá Atlético Club booed when Calderoes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Itaquá Atlético Club's Ramiro Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
