That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Julia's goal looked a bit too open when Washington Mendes came free, but Cláudio Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Breno Sousa scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cláudio Neto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maurício Ortiz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Julia's Ricardinho Leal shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Ricardinho Leal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Maurício Ortiz made a huge save. 37 minutes into the game, Ricardinho Leal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maurício Ortiz. Ricardinho Leal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rimbika's goalkeeper Maurício Ortiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardinho Leal to make the kick off. If Nildo Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Ricardinho Leal put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Maurício Ortiz. Julia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Válbson Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute Válbson Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Rimbika getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Carlos Eduardo Dantas hit a great ball. After 87 minutes of play, Julia's Ricardinho Leal made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurício Ortiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ricardinho Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Rimbika's Valdemar Novaes got a free kick in the 95th minute.
