Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Reynaldo Linares came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Muniz FC's Caco Passos. But to his dismay, Caco Passos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Muniz FC's Michel de Toledo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynaldo Linares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Rinopolis S.C.'s zone, Caco Passos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Linares came out of the goal and Caco Passos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michel de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Reynaldo Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee gave Muniz FC a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Albertino Maciel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rinopolis S.C.'s Reynaldo Linares. 0-2. Muniz FC's Jarbas Quaresma pulled a muscle in his back after 22 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dieguinho Donato during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Rinopolis S.C. getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Dieguinho Donato hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Caco Passos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reynaldo Linares was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caco Passos in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reynaldo Linares saved Rinopolis S.C. from getting behind. Dieguinho Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Muniz FC's Caco Passos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reynaldo Linares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Caco Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Linares having to interfere. If Caco Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Rinopolis S.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Muniz FC were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernesto Alagoano to strike the kick off in the second half. Reynaldo Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Passos in the 53rd minute of play. Caco Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Michel de Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caco Passos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Reynaldo Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caco Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Linares having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Caco Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muniz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caco Passos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Muniz FC's Tomás Passos got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caco Passos got free with Reynaldo Linares in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Rinopolis S.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Caco Passos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Caco Passos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Reynaldo Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Rinopolis S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Caco Passos came free, but Reynaldo Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Rinopolis S.C.'s goalkeeper Reynaldo Linares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caco Passos. During the 85th minute of the match Dieguinho Donato completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dieguinho Donato a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Dieguinho Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Caco Passos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Reynaldo Linares made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Michel de Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muniz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Michel de Toledo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Muniz FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
