In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nova's goalkeeper Régis Leal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Tersariolli Team's Marek Fiala in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Régis Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerônimo Arruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th match minute, Nova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gugu Diniz to maneuver through the defense. Régis Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerônimo Arruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marek Fiala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Régis Leal having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Fiala in the 43rd minute of play forced Nova's goalkeeper Régis Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marek Fiala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Flávio Jacinto made the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Marek Fiala got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. César Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Régis Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Luan Campidelis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Régis Leal. The goal made the score 1-1. Marek Fiala who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Régis Leal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Luan Campidelis came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Tersariolli Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luan Campidelis couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Nova's zone, Marek Fiala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Régis Leal came out of the goal and Marek Fiala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Artur Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tersariolli Team were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Nova to leave the ground with a draw.
