Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Agenor Mandrak got the match started through his kick off. ELESTE F.C.'s Luiz Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agenor Mandrak in the 4th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agenor Mandrak in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Sergipano saved ELESTE F.C. from getting behind. If Artur Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ELESTE F.C.'s Luiz Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agenor Mandrak in the 10th minute of play. Agenor Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Sergipano having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Joel Alves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ELESTE F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bica the free kick. After 21 played minutes ELESTE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Joel Alves. After recieving a nice pass, Bica's Ronaldinho Lara tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute Artur Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Oséias Araújo fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bica's protests and gave Oséias Araújo a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Bica got a freekick which was hit by Oséias Araújo. Bica's Vânderson Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Travassos in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match, Agenor Mandrak tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luiz Sergipano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Humberto da Rocha hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, ELESTE F.C.'s goalkeeper Luiz Sergipano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Queirós. Agenor Mandrak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Sergipano having to make a save. Ademar Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agenor Mandrak in the 48th minute of play forced ELESTE F.C.'s goalkeeper Luiz Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Manuel Travassos made the kick off in the second half. Manuel Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Vânderson Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agenor Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. If Artur Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80thth minute of the game Artur Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ELESTE F.C.'s Luiz Sergipano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Agenor Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agenor Mandrak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Humberto da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Bica's Artur Queirós in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ELESTE F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Luisinho Loyola did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Vânderson Britto 89 minutes into the match. If Manuel Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Pirani charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Pirani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
