Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luís Fábio Marquez kicked off to start the match. Luiz Gustavo Cerezo charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Gustavo Cerezo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 minutes of play Corityba EC's Luiz Gustavo Cerezo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 7 minutes into the match, Corityba EC's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisinho Loyola. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Furlan in the 8th minute of play forced ELESTE F.C.'s goalkeeper Luiz Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kauã Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Sergipano having to interfere. The supporters of Corityba EC booed when ELESTE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jefferson Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Kauã Furlan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Sergipano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. ELESTE F.C.'s Luiz Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauã Furlan in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Kauã Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kauã Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Fábio Marquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Sergipano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. If Gil Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kauã Furlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Luís Fábio Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corityba EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Fábio Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Sergipano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Kauã Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Sergipano having to interfere. The long shot by Vladimir Amaral in the 58th minute really tested Luiz Sergipano's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of ELESTE F.C. booed when Corityba EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauã Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to ELESTE F.C. getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Joel Alves hit a great ball. Kauã Furlan took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Sergipano. Luiz Sergipano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Kauã Furlan might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Sergipano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kauã Furlan ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 74 minutes, Tomé Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corityba EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomé Maranhense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kauã Furlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Luiz Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Corityba EC got a freekick which was hit by Tomé Maranhense. In the 86th minute, Luisinho Loyola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Augusto de Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Luís Fábio Marquez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Sergipano having to make a save. When the match was over Corityba EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ELESTE F.C. throughout the match.
