In the 20thth minute of the game Elivélton Braga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Imbau EC's Válter Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Camelo booed when Imbau EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Denílson Bezerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Camelo's Leopoldo Jacinto Ochagavia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denílson Bezerra struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Leopoldo Jacinto Ochagavia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Imbau EC. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denílson Bezerra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elivélton Braga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Camelo's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Bezerra came free, but Leopoldo Jacinto Ochagavia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Jacinto Ochagavia came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Imbau EC's Edmundo dos Santos. But to his dismay, Edmundo dos Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Sebastião Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 82 minutes into the match, Camelo's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo dos Santos came free, but Leopoldo Jacinto Ochagavia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sebastião Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldinho Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Lúcio Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Camelo were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
