The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Dé Guimarães was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Dito Lago capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dito Lago really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When Kjell-Arne Jernberg came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Pacovalinho EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kjell-Arne Jernberg couldn't finish the play. Luiz Gustavo Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Kjell-Arne Jernberg notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Dantas's Erik da Mata. Gabriel Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Dé Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Dito Lago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dé Guimarães. Pacovalinho EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dito Lago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
