Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luís Eduardo Mattos made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the match, Pacovalinho EC's goalkeeper Dé Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Eduardo Mattos. With a little luck, Pacovalinho EC's Dé Guimarães got control of the ball when Agenor Ribeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filipson's Ramón Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Ferraz in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Filipson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Eduardo Mattos to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Alfredinho Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Filipson's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredinho Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dé Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Alfredinho Reis made a precise shot to the right of Dé Guimarães. Pacovalinho EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Luís Eduardo Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Filipson's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Eduardo Mattos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dé Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Alfredinho Reis came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Filipson fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredinho Reis couldn't finish the play. Kjell-Arne Jernberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Filipson's Luís Eduardo Mattos got a free kick in the 27th minute. Dé Guimarães was a little too slow when Luís Eduardo Mattos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Mattos in the 39th minute of play forced Pacovalinho EC's goalkeeper Dé Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredinho Reis got free with Dé Guimarães in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Pacovalinho EC's Dé Guimarães got control of the ball when Alfredinho Reis tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the match, Luís Eduardo Mattos notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Pacovalinho EC's Dé Guimarães. Dé Guimarães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Luís Eduardo Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dé Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute of the match Alfredinho Reis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dé Guimarães skillfully saved the ball. After 57 played minutes Pacovalinho EC got a freekick which was hit by Kjell-Arne Jernberg. Dé Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agenor Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Kjell-Arne Jernberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Filipson's Ramón Pimenta got control of the ball when Tales Ferraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 70 minutes of play, Filipson's Luís Eduardo Mattos made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dé Guimarães was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dé Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus Mineiro in the 74th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Filipson's Agenor Ribeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dé Guimarães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Rubens Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Roberto Cavalcante was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ramón Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell-Arne Jernberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Pacovalinho EC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Eduardo Mattos came free, but Dé Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramón Pimenta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kjell-Arne Jernberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-1 in the 90 minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Filipson fully deserved thier win.
