Jano do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís Tavares in the 14th minute of the match. If Waldemar Gamza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luís Tavares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jano do Valle. Sílvio Luís Tavares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, CONCORDIA's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri de Alcântara came free, but Christiano Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sílvio Luís Tavares took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jano do Valle. Jano do Valle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, CONCORDIA's Conrado Duarte got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute of the match, Sílvio Luís Tavares tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jano do Valle saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Diamantino Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mário Mineiro fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maraconahu SS's protests and gave Mário Mineiro a yellow card for diving instead. Sílvio Luís Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Maraconahu SS's Jano do Valle got control of the ball when Conrado Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Jano do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jano do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Gamza in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Maraconahu SS's Régis Miranda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christiano Cordeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Waldemar Gamza scored 4-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jano do Valle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th match minute, CONCORDIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Duarte to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute of the match Régis Miranda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christiano Cordeiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Diamantino Recife charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diamantino Recife the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to CONCORDIA getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Diamantino Recife hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovanni de Castro got free with Christiano Cordeiro in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CONCORDIA's Waldemar Gamza got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CONCORDIA fully deserved thier win.
