Kaká Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nicolas Medeiros in the 18th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Kaká Velloso kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Kaká Velloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Medeiros in the 23rd minute. Andersons's Dedê Aparecido quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dedé Coutinho, made in the 25th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elder Brasil in the 28th minute of play forced Gamelera AD's goalkeeper Cícero Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Dedé Coutinho threw the ball into play from the sideline.
