Luiz Favoretto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséias Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Frank Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Luiz Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basílio Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arí Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Oséias Ramos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Luiz Favoretto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abel Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Lacerda SC's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Dantas came free, but Luiz Favoretto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basílio Quintal was a little too slow when Basílio de Souza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-1. Basílio Quintal was a little too slow when João Augusto Ortiz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 3-1. Luiz Favoretto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Baptista in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias Ramos in the 37th minute of play forced Lacerda SC's goalkeeper Luiz Favoretto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Cangoritgo SS's Basílio Quintal got control of the ball when João Francisco de Queiroz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Cangoritgo SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Dantas to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute of the match Duarte Meireles sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basílio Quintal skillfully saved the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Frank Baptista made the kick off in the second half. Lacerda SC's Arí Eger pulled a muscle in his leg after 51 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank Baptista during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frank Baptista hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. João Augusto Ortiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Baptista in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Favoretto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Lacerda SC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. José Maria Zanette hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute Basílio de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If João Augusto Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Frank Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Favoretto made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Adrianinho da Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Lacerda SC's zone, Adrianinho da Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Favoretto came out of the goal and Adrianinho da Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Baptista who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Luiz Favoretto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. João Augusto Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Abel Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Cangoritgo SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Dantas couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute of the match Silvério Favoretto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Favoretto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Adrianinho da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Luiz Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Cangoritgo SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. When Frank Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Cangoritgo SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Baptista couldn't finish the play. If João Augusto Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Cangoritgo SS's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio de Souza came free, but Basílio Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cangoritgo SS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lacerda SC.
