Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when João Vítor Pena kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Dantas in the 3rd minute of play forced Corrida's goalkeeper Diamantino Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 played minutes Cangoritgo SS got a freekick which was hit by Silvério Favoretto. 19 minutes into the game, Corrida's João Vítor Pena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basílio Quintal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 24 played minutes Corrida got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Dantas. Diamantino Brito was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Oséias Ramos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Oséias Ramos really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 39th minute Waldemar Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Corrida's goalkeeper Diamantino Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Dantas. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 58th minute, Luiz Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basílio Quintal didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 62nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Frank Baptista charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Baptista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diamantino Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With a little luck, Cangoritgo SS's Basílio Quintal got control of the ball when João Vítor Pena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abel Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Brito having to interfere. Abel Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Waldemar Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Oséias Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cangoritgo SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Oséias Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diamantino Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Frank Baptista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes in the game, Waldemar Lopes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Basílio Quintal having to interfere. The Corrida players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cangoritgo SS from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
