Cachucha AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calcoene SS the free kick. In the 12th match minute, Cachucha AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ediberto Perez to maneuver through the defense. Geraldo Pereira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Tales Couto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sidney Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Tales Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tales Couto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geraldo Pereira in the 17th minute. Sidney Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Couto having to interfere. If Sidney Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tales Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Paulo de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 37 played minutes, Calcoene SS's Allan Berger shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tales Couto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Calcoene SS reached it. In the 39th minute Sidney Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cachucha AD fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Peres in the 57th minute of play forced Cachucha AD's goalkeeper Tales Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calcoene SS's Allan Severo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Calcoene SS from getting a goal against them. Ediberto Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
