The long shot by Doriva Paes in the 15th minute really tested Eriberto Lago's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Alfredinho Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Queiroz in the 16th minute of the match. Bernardo Rodrigues might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredinho Mattos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Rodrigues ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabrício Alves struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Alfredinho Mattos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaino FC. 30 minutes into the match, Gaino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Fernando Quirino came free, but Eriberto Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredinho Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Alves in the 31st minute of the match. If Felipe Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Fernando Quirino's late challenge caught a Gaino FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Carajari EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Fernando Quirino to maneuver through the defense. Alfredinho Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Queiroz in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Eduardo Britto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carajari EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Fabrício Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Mattos having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Carajari EC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Augusto Moreira. Fabrício Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alan Vianna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Mattos having to interfere. Felipe Queiroz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredinho Mattos having to make a save. Fabrício Alves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Alfredinho Mattos made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Gaino FC's Fabrício Alves got a free kick in the 79th minute. Alfredinho Mattos made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Fabrício Alves sent off a good shot on target. The Carajari EC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
