Gino de Queiroz took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson Saldanha. Nilson Saldanha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Percival Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Casinha's Nilson Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival Mineiro in the 11th minute of play. If Gino de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Aimin's goal looked a bit too open when João Francisco de Amaral came free, but Elano Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Elói dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Casinha's João Francisco de Amaral in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aimin's goalie prevented a goal. Gino de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nilson Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nilson Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percival Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Aimin's goal looked a bit too open when Elói dos Santos came free, but Elano Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gino de Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Nilson Saldanha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aimin. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Percival Mineiro was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Aimin got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Cruz. Nilson Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino de Queiroz in the 55th minute of the match. Percival Mineiro struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Nilson Saldanha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aimin. After 60 played minutes, Aimin's Ricardinho Soeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nilson Saldanha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aimin reached it. When Gino de Queiroz came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Aimin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gino de Queiroz couldn't finish the play. Percival Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Nilson Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Casinha's zone, Gino de Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson Saldanha came out of the goal and Gino de Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elói dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Elano Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Fonseca during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Casinha:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Aimin:s goal. The referee gave Aimin a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ricardinho Soeiro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Casinha's Nilson Saldanha. 3-0. Percival Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Nilson Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gino de Queiroz scored 4-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nilson Saldanha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Casinha's Sydney Lopez got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute of the match Aimin got a corner. Casinha's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ricardinho Soeiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Percival Mineiro drilling the ball in to score 5-0 behind Casinha's goalkeeper. Casinha's Nilson Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival Mineiro in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Casinha's goalkeeper Nilson Saldanha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Casinha's zone, Valdo Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson Saldanha came out of the goal and Valdo Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percival Mineiro in the 98th minute of play forced Casinha's goalkeeper Nilson Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aimin walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
