Horácio Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruninho Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Mateusz Arendarski kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Aloísio Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. José Paulo Lira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aloísio Vaz having to make a save. Aloísio Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horácio Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sydney Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Romeu got a freekick which was hit by Serginho Barros. Aloísio Vaz came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by C.Z SOBERANO's Duarte Seco. But to his dismay, Duarte Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Duarte Seco made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duarte Seco in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aloísio Vaz saved Romeu from getting behind. When Duarte Seco came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the C.Z SOBERANO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duarte Seco couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Mandrak in the 69th minute of play forced Romeu's goalkeeper Aloísio Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Horácio Mandrak notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Romeu's Aloísio Vaz. Aloísio Vaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. C.Z SOBERANO's Cristian Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Aguiar in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Romeu's Rafael Arósio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rafael Arósio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Romeu protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rafael Arósio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Romeu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.Z SOBERANO:s goal. When Maurinho Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Romeu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurinho Aguiar couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute of the match Hugo Cosme shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristian Santos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Duarte Seco notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Romeu's Aloísio Vaz. Aloísio Vaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aloísio Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Duarte Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.Z SOBERANO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C.Z SOBERANO fully deserved thier win.
