Júnior Pombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tostão Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Luís Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Dinei Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júnior Pombal having to interfere. Camisa's supporters rose to their feet, but David Guimarães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silas Vidal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Dinei Arruda came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Canaan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinei Arruda couldn't finish the play. In the 75thth minute of the game Dinei Arruda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Camisa's Júnior Pombal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 77 in the game by Tostão Paraíba from a close distance when the talented Júnior Pombal managed to make a qualified save. Camisa's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Camisa's zone, Tostão Paraíba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júnior Pombal came out of the goal and Tostão Paraíba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Luís Terra hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Canaan FC's Silas Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dito Leal in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Canaan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dito Leal came free, but Silas Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinei Arruda in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Júnior Pombal saved Camisa from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Tostão Paraíba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canaan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tostão Paraíba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júnior Pombal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
