Baioes's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Júlio Koehler 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. A collision led to Baioes getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Wilian Vides hit a great ball. Cristiano Paranaense's late challenge caught a Baioes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristiano Paranaense helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes Taboquinho got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Paranaense. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Taboquinho reached it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Júlio Koehler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Diogo Falcão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diogo Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th match minute, Baioes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. Diogo Falcão struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Valdomiro Faustino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baioes. Taboquinho's Valdomiro Faustino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Taboquinho from getting a goal against them. Baioes's Diogo Falcão got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
