Ediberto Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Sampaio in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Palmeiras Piatã FC's Renatinho de Salles got a free kick in the 5th minute. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Yuri Sampaio put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ediberto Tepedino. Ediberto Tepedino came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Sociedade Portovelhense's Yuri Sampaio. But to his dismay, Yuri Sampaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With his leg Ediberto Tepedino managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Sociedade Portovelhense's Yuri Sampaio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Yuri Sampaio in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ediberto Tepedino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ediberto Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sociedade Portovelhense's Carlos Pernambucano got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Palmeiras Piatã FC's Gugu de Queirós seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gugu de Queirós the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Palmeiras Piatã FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gugu de Queirós had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Palmeiras Piatã FC! After 43 played minutes Yuri Sampaio rounded Palmeiras Piatã FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. In the 48thth minute of the game Yuri Sampaio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmeiras Piatã FC's Ediberto Tepedino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fábio da Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Palmeiras Piatã FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Fábio da Cunha hit a great ball. When Sociedade Portovelhense's Bebeto Rosado in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palmeiras Piatã FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ediberto Tepedino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yuri Sampaio's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute Yuri Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ediberto Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fábio da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Renato Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yuri Sampaio in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ediberto Tepedino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bebeto Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ediberto Tepedino having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yuri Sampaio in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ediberto Tepedino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bebeto Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palmeiras Piatã FC's Ediberto Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Sampaio in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Carlos Pernambucano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ediberto Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Sampaio in the 88th minute of the match. When Sociedade Portovelhense's Yuri Sampaio in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palmeiras Piatã FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sociedade Portovelhense's goalkeeper Renato Lopes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Yuri Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sociedade Portovelhense's supporters rose to their feet, but Yuri Sampaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ediberto Tepedino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fábio da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Lopes having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sociedade Portovelhense had played much better football throughout.
