Pedro Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 4 minutes, Jano Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PEQUENO MILAGRE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jano Marinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Umut Tuncay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of William de Queirós's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. When William de Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Adelia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William de Queirós couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, PEQUENO MILAGRE's Patrick Vergílio got a free kick in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by William de Queirós in the 13th minute of play forced PEQUENO MILAGRE's goalkeeper Umut Tuncay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Ferreira made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Zé Augusto Madureira sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Fausto Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot. PEQUENO MILAGRE's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Madureira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Madureira in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Ferreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melchor Dolfo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Paulo Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Melchor Dolfo took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Ferreira. Pedro Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Adelia's Pedro Ferreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Adelia from getting a goal against them. Vivaldo de Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Ferreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Márcio Mangueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fausto Madureira took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Ferreira. Pedro Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Pedro Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Augusto Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Adelia's Pedro Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Dolfo in the 63rd minute of play. After having played for 69 minutes, William de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Adelia's supporters crossed their fingers, but William de Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Ferreira came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by PEQUENO MILAGRE's Wilton Favoretto. But to his dismay, Wilton Favoretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 88 minutes into the match, Adelia's goal looked a bit too open when Wilton Favoretto came free, but Pedro Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Melchor Dolfo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PEQUENO MILAGRE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Wilton Favoretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilton Favoretto scored 5-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Ferreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
