Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Celso Dantas started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edu Pontes got free with Cláudio Soares in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Durvalino Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natã Hames in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, Jacuitiba SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Rosado to maneuver through the defense. Pratigipe EC's Cláudio Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Rosado in the 11th minute of play. Celso Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Rosado hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Tiago Tróia charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiago Tróia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pratigipe EC's Cláudio Soares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Pratigipe EC from getting a goal against them. Cláudio Soares made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Gildo Vergílio sent off a good shot on target. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Davi Bastos to strike the kick off in the second half. Davi Bastos took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cláudio Soares. Cláudio Soares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 57th minute Zé Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Evandro Mandrak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pratigipe EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jacuitiba SC the free kick. In the 59th match minute, Pratigipe EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Edu Pontes notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Pratigipe EC's Cláudio Soares. Cláudio Soares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 63 minutes of play, Jacuitiba SC's Zé Rosado made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cláudio Soares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Natã Hames struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Durvalino Quintal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pratigipe EC. Natã Hames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Durvalino Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Natã Hames got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 85 played minutes Jacuitiba SC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Rosado. Pratigipe EC's Natã Hames got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, Jacuitiba SC's goalkeeper Durvalino Quintal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natã Hames. Jacuitiba SC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pratigipe EC for a fine match.
