After a rather tough play, Cabo Frio FC's Ruy Botelho got a free kick in the 81st minute. Felipe Luz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jean Vander went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 88thth minute of the game Geovanni Severo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E.C. Paraguaçuense's Robinho Nunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robinho Nunes made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Hílton Gomes sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hílton Gomes during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hílton Gomes hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Ruy Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cabo Frio FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because E.C. Paraguaçuense had won, even though Cabo Frio FC had held more of the ball.
