Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Estopa FC's Celsinho Mattos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Celsinho Mattos fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estopa FC's protests and gave Celsinho Mattos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Estopa FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Celsinho Mattos hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, LOS POLLOS's goal looked a bit too open when Celsinho Mattos came free, but Adalmo Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Víktor de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Sá having to interfere. LOS POLLOS's Adalmo Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Mattos in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Estopa FC's Vivaldo Barros got a free kick in the 8th minute. A hard shot 11 in the game by Ernani Batista from a close distance when the talented Conrado Sá managed to make a qualified save. Estopa FC's players were relieved. 14 minutes into the match, Estopa FC's Celsinho Mattos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adalmo Soares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carmine Di Cicco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Sá having to interfere. Adalmo Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmo Velasco in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hernani de Andrade got free with Conrado Sá in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléberson de Godoi in the 27th minute of play forced LOS POLLOS's goalkeeper Adalmo Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Di Cicco in the 30th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ernani Batista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Conrado Sá was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Víktor de Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingos Neto struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Conrado Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LOS POLLOS. With his leg Conrado Sá managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when LOS POLLOS's Ernani Batista fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind LOS POLLOS's goalkeeper Adalmo Soares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th match minute, Estopa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vivaldo Barros to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernani Batista to strike the kick off in the second half. LOS POLLOS's Carmine Di Cicco got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kléberson de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Adalmo Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58thth minute of the game Ernani Batista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estopa FC's Conrado Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Antônio Magalhães fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOS POLLOS's protests and gave Antônio Magalhães a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, LOS POLLOS's Christian de Queirós got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Estopa FC's Celsinho Mattos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Adalmo Soares came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Estopa FC's Celsinho Mattos. But to his dismay, Celsinho Mattos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 75 minutes into the match, Estopa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernani de Andrade came free, but Conrado Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Estopa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernani de Andrade came free, but Conrado Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Estopa FC booed when LOS POLLOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernani de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estopa FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over LOS POLLOS's much stronger midfield.
