Cambiasca FC's Vito Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Paulo Linares in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, José Paulo Linares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Vito Netto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarbas Tepedino in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joélson de Sousa saved Família Futebol Clube from getting behind. Jarbas Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joélson de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egídio Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Paulo Linares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito Netto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Cambiasca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Tavares to maneuver through the defense. Família Futebol Clube's Hélio Mineiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Cambiasca FC's Egídio Duarte in the 74th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Joélson de Sousa was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Família Futebol Clube through an amazing save. If Jarbas Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 minutes of play Família Futebol Clube's Carlinhos Félix was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 82 played minutes Família Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Carlinhos Félix. The Cambiasca FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Egídio Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Joélson de Sousa made a huge save. Paulo Tavares struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Joélson de Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cambiasca FC.
