In the 21stth minute of the game Chico Machado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minha Amigo FC's Luiz Fábio Ferreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Scudeiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célio Moreira to maneuver through the defense. If Vítor Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chico Machado was the one to do the kick off. Luiz Fábio Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Scudeiros FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Noel Freitas in the 71st minute. José Meirelles scored 4-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Fábio Ferreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Scudeiros FC's goalkeeper Zeca Peres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Scudeiros FC fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Scudeiros FC's Chico Machado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 86 minutes, William Reis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scudeiros FC and the Minha Amigo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. José Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Luiz Fábio Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Scudeiros FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
