A collision led to Charqueadas SS getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Ezequiel Faustino hit a great ball. With splendid footwork Jano Gaspar arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 7th minute. Lucas de Amaral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jefferson Albuquerque read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Jano Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Branco having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Charqueadas SS's Jano Gaspar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serginho Branco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jefferson Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomás Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Sérgio Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charqueadas SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Sérgio Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serginho Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jano Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jefferson Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomás Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Albuquerque having to interfere. Jefferson Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomás Rezende in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jano Gaspar in the 55th minute of play forced MDS Soccer Club's goalkeeper Serginho Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Albuquerque having to interfere. Sérgio Ortiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serginho Branco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sérgio Ortiz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind MDS Soccer Club's goalkeeper Serginho Branco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 73 minutes, Orlando Soeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MDS Soccer Club and the Charqueadas SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, MDS Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute of the match Dário Dracena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serginho Branco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 89th minute, Ezequiel Faustino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Umberto Loureiro hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Serginho Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Dracena in the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Charqueadas SS were the better team. Charqueadas SS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
