With his leg Marcel Silveira managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Manchester Breja's Waldir Botelho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Manchester Breja's João Adolfo Trigo in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boiacu's goalie prevented a goal. 11 minutes into the match, Boiacu's goalkeeper Marcel Silveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Percy Ceresso. Adrianinho Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Rezende having to interfere. Boiacu's Marcel Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Adolfo Trigo in the 30th minute of play. Boiacu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when João Adolfo Trigo scored to the left of an out of position Marcel Silveira, making the score, 1-0. Wilton Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Carlos de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilton Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The audience was convinced that Percy Ceresso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcel Silveira was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Marcel Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percy Ceresso in the 72nd minute of play. Percy Ceresso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, João Adolfo Trigo put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marcel Silveira. Percy Ceresso struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. When the referee ended the match the Manchester Breja players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
